The kitchen is the heart of the home, filled with cooking, meals, and memories. Our goal is to make it sparkle, creating a healthy and inviting environment. Follow the techniques outlined in our Operations Manual, use the cleaning kit effectively, and remember, we do not handle valuable items or perform heavy lifting. Always switch to indoor shoes or use disposable shoe covers in customers' homes.
Cleaning Sequence
01 — Sweep or vacuum the kitchen floor, ensuring all crumbs and debris are removed.
02 — Wipe down countertops with a green microfiber cloth and our approved cleaning solution, moving appliances and objects to clean underneath. Ensure countertops are free from spills and stains.
03 — Clean and scrub the stovetop, including removing and scrubbing stovetop grills to eliminate any grease and debris. Dry thoroughly.
04 — Clean the interior and exterior of the microwave, including removing and scrubbing the microwave plate before replacing it.
05 — Wipe down the exterior of all appliances, including the fridge, stove, microwave, and dishwasher, ensuring they are smudge-free and clean on all fronts and sides.
06 — Dust and wipe the fronts of cupboards, drawers, shelves, and cabinet doors. Remove any cobwebs using the Swiffer duster wand.
07 — Spot clean walls, doors, and handles to remove fingerprints, food residues, and other marks.
08 — Clean and polish the sink(s) and faucet, ensuring they are shiny, grime-free, and dry.
09 — Wipe down the dining table and chairs, ensuring they are clean and dust-free.
10 — Clean baseboards and molding, making sure they are dust-free and clean.
11 — Empty and clean trash bins. Replace the trash bag after all tasks are completed in the house.
12 — Mop the kitchen floor after all other tasks are completed, leaving the kitchen spotless.
Quality Check
Before you leave the kitchen, conduct a thorough review of your work. Are all surfaces spotless? Are there any streaks on the appliances or countertops? Has all trash been removed and the liner replaced? Is everything neatly arranged and inviting? The kitchen should feel clean and welcoming, reflecting the quality and care of our service. Remember, we are not just cleaning a kitchen; we are caring for a home.
